Refund Policy - the basics

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which SCN Trading Ltd ("we", "our", "us") may offer refunds to our customers. It serves as a legally binding agreement between us and our customers, setting expectations and protecting both parties in the event of a return or dispute.

While refund requirements vary by jurisdiction, having a clear and transparent policy is considered a best practice for B2B and wholesale businesses alike. Our policy is designed to reflect fair, consistent treatment for all trade clients and retail buyers.

What to include in the Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility:

Customers may request a refund or return under the following conditions:

  • The item is unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition

  • The request is made within 14 calendar days from the delivery date

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) is provided

 
Non-Refundable Items:

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Clearance or sale items

  • Custom, made-to-order, or special-order products

  • Products that have been damaged due to improper handling or installation

 
Return Process:

To request a return or refund:

  1. Email info@scntrading.co.uk with your order number and reason for return

  2. Once approved, a return address and reference number will be provided

  3. You must return the item within 7 days of receiving approval

  4. The product will be inspected upon return

 

If the product meets the return conditions, a full or partial refund will be issued within 5–7 business days using the original payment method.

 
Shipping Costs:
  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item was received damaged or in error

  • We recommend using a tracked delivery service for returns

 
Damaged or Incorrect Items:

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or refund, depending on the issue and stock availability.
